This policy brief analyzes the evolution of the peace process in Côte d'Ivoire. It does so in the context of an evolved international environment (Kofi Annan's and Pierre Schori's departures, Jacques Chirac's retirement and President Nicolas Sarkozy's election). The authors look at the key challenges yet to be overcome and provide reasons why Côte d'Ivoire and the international community may have reasons for hope.
