This paper discusses presidential term limits in Nigeria. Nationally representative Afrobarometer survey data shows that 84 percent of Nigerians believe that the president should not serve more than two terms in office. Furthermore, it states that there is strong support among the Nigerian public for term limits, free elections, competitive politics and constitutional government.
