This publication explores the nature of democracy in Namibia and attitudes among the voting population. The authors analyze survey data from interviews conducted in 1999 and 2002. The report covers pertinent issues that range from voter satisfaction to government responsiveness. It argues that a substantial number of Namibians embrace nondemocratic alternatives despite 15 years of uninterrupted plural democracy.
