Publication

The publication explores the defense relationship between Russia and the countries of Central Asia. The report examines four dimensions of bilateral cooperation: external border protection, defense equipment supply, defense research and development and space activities. The report concludes that the Russian use of military facilities in Central Asian territory maintains its military foothold in the region.
