This note examines the uncertainties of climate science, and the various attributions of climate change. It notes that the science behind the greenhouse effect has been described since 1827. According to this paper, climate scientists have no doubt that the earth’s climate will warm in response to further CO2 added to the atmosphere, but there are uncertainties about how much and what the regional details of this will be. It subscribes to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC) view that it is the addition of CO2 to the atmosphere and other human causes that are 'very likely' causing most of climate change.
