Publication

This paper discusses the importance of enhancing policy coherence for achieving development objectives. It considers the justification for, the recognition and scope of the limits to the goal of enhancing policy coherence for development. Using the background of international experience, it then explains that in order to achieve this goal, complex 'coherence management' is needed. It presents a series of recommendations for the German development cooperation.
