Publication

This paper provides an overview of pervasive computing and discusses the growing debate over privacy, safety and environmental implications. It comments on the importance of devices, connectivity and user interfaces for pervasive computing, reviews possible applications and highlights engineering problems that need to be solved before many of the applications can become a reality.
