Publication

This study examines the activities of the gender programs in Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. Specifically, it considers the programs of the Office of Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) with focus on such aspects as women's leadership and political participation, national expertise and integration of gender-equality aspects into national policymaking. The authors also analyze the overall impact of ODIHR program on society and conclude with policy recommendations on gender equality.
