This brief 1) examines the interactions between China and other countries in the nuclear power and telecommunications industries, to include their security and safety dimensions; and 2) provides policy recommendations in these particular areas. The nuclear section concentrates on Beijing’s involvement with the UK, Greenland, Pakistan, countries in the Middle East and Ukraine. The telecommunications section zeros in on the Scandinavian countries, including Denmark, US, UK, and selected African countries.
