external page Garik Israelian, STARMUS Festival´s founding director will announce Jean-Michel Jarre’s new project in collaboration with Starmus, a concert in tribute to the 50th anniversary of Apollo. This unique one-off live concert will be performed during Starmus V in Zurich. Jarre’s innovative concert-events are wildly popular due to his renowned talent for combining music, light, technology and science. Jarre has gathered record live audiences across the planet over the span of his singular career. His tribute to Apollo will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, all the more symbolic since he conceived and performed the 25th anniversary concert for NASA in Houston to an enthralled 1.5m audience, and in Moscow 3.5m were offered to share a live link with MIR for his concert there.
Jean-Michel Jarre and Garik Israelian will announce this new concert project and discuss the bond between science, technology and art. They will also explain how Jarre’s Apollo tribute concert will integrate real cosmic sounds to create music.
