They come to ETH Zurich almost daily by bike or e-bike. Three ETH transport researchers are investigating how an e-bike-friendly city works. They are also committed to a safe, sustainable, and CO₂-reducing campus mobility at ETH Zurich.

The 100 best girls from the Kangaroo mathematics competition were given the opportunity to visit ETH on 9 June. Former ski racer and physicist Dominique Gisin accompanied the girls as a mentor. ETH female researchers gave an insight into their research work.

At its last meeting, the Executive Board decided on measures concerning the employee survey and the salary rates for the scientific staff. It also supports the Zurich Forest Laboratory ("Waldlabor Zürich").

ETH Zurich says farewell to Franz Schmithüsen. The emeritus professor for forestry policy and forestry economy formed an entire generation of forestry experts. He died on 14 April 2015 at the age of 75.
