The ACM SIGPLAN Symposium on Principles of Programming Languages (POPL 2025) has recognised Professor Ralf Jung (Department of Computer Science) and his collaborators with a Test-of-Time Award for the paper "Iris: Monoids and Invariants as an Orthogonal Basis for Concurrent Reasoning". To enable and support ETH Zurich's core business, the Real Estate Management department provides the necessary rooms and space. To this end, the department renovates, converts or builds new buildings and rents space. In 2024, several new and renovated buildings were handed over to the users.
Discussions and solutions for PAKETH implementation at the teaching retreat

The go-ahead for the PAKETH teaching reform was given by the Executive Board at the end of August. At the teaching retreat on 15 January in the main building, those responsible for the degree programmes discussed the implementation of the reform. Possible risks were discussed, as well as innovative teaching projects that will pave the way for the reform.

Towards sustainable catalysis: On February 14, 2025, Prof. Murielle Delley, professor at the University Basel, will receive the 2024 Ruzicka Prize for her work on the controlled surface modification of cobalt phosphide with sulfur.
