The award for a family-friendly leader: “The Golden Tricycle” 2014
Now, for the eighth time, members of ETH Zurich have the opportunity to nominate supervisors for the “Golden Tricycle”, an award that recognises team leaders who exceedingly champion the reconciliation of work and family.
Does your superior enable your team to keep work and caring for children or an illness in the family under one roof? Is it possible for you as an employee to follow a working model that allows both individuals in a couple to pursue a career?
Now, for the eighth time, you have the opportunity to nominate supervisors for the “Golden Tricycle”, an award that recognises team leaders who exceedingly champion the reconciliation of work and family.

If you wish to re-enter a candidate from previous years, please refer to past nominations and amend any recent achievements.
An expert jury will choose the winner according to defined criteria for family-friendliness.
Criteria for family-friendliness at ETH Zurich are for example that
• important meetings do not take place in the evening.
• career-improvement opportunities exist even for a part-time employment.
• working hours are handled flexibly and part-time and telework models are supported.
