Photos, final theses, e-banking – mobile work anywhere, anytime has long since become an everyday occurrence. With this in mind, most users own several devices: a smartphone, a tablet, a laptop.
Are your devices in sight? It’s quite simple: don’t let your devices out of your sight. If, for example, you are in the library or canteen and leave your workspace briefly, take your devices with you. Are your devices unattended while you are working out or playing sports or do you leave them in the office overnight? Then lock them away. Does your hotel room have a safe? Use it.
Protecting these devices against theft and unauthorised access is worthwhile, because insecure devices also put your data at risk. Information security starts with the end device. It is therefore important that you, as user, are aware and informed. Read more on the campaign website.
