New building opening hours
Opening hours for ETH Zurich buildings will be restricted from 7 December.
Due to reduced visitor frequency, caused, among other things, by the reduced teaching activities, from 7 December most of the ETH buildings will be closed as early as 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and reopened at 7 a.m. The buildings will also be closed on weekends. Access during this time is only possible with a badge.
The following buildings with student workstations or with sports facilities are excluded from this regulation: HG/MM and CAB on the Campus Zentrum and HIL, HIF, HC0, HPI, HWC and HPS on the Hönggerberg Campus. Opening hours in these buildings remain unchanged.
From 24 December 2020, the usual holiday closing time will apply to all buildings. Because some members of ETH Zurich may want to work over Christmas/New Year, heating and ventilation will not be reduced.
