e-rara now includes thumbnails and other new features
e-rara puts digitized prints at your fingertips – now with new functions and navigation options.
e-rara has been updated to provide a range of new functions and navigation options. These include thumbnails, an option to download full texts as Alto XML and the ability to display up to 100 hits per page.
e-rara was redesigned from the ground up in 2020. Since then, other improvement suggestions have been collected and implemented, along with new technical functions: The zoom feature new supports additional magnification levels. The navigation bar in the page view contains a button to jump directly to the end of the print. The mobile version now also supports image editing – along with many other new features.

e-rara is the platform for digitized prints from Swiss libraries and currently contains 98,815 titles from 26 libraries. All content can be downloaded as PDF or JPEG and features the Public Domain Mark.
