The fire protection courses of the SSHE teach all interested ETH members how fires can be prevented and how to react correctly in case of fire. There are still free places for the upcoming courses.
The Safety, Security, Health and Environment Department (SSHE) conducts the annual Fire Safety Training - series for four weeks each autumn. During a total of 75 minutes, the participants are taught how to prevent fire emergencies and in the practical part, the participants learn how to behave in case of a fire. All course participants have the opportunity to practice using a hand-held fire extinguisher and a fire blanket under expert guidance.
There are still free places for many courses up to 20 October 2023 - both in the courses that are held in German and in the courses where lectures are given in English. For employees who work in laboratories and workshops, attendance at the course is recommended, also as a refresher. All other interested ETH members are also very welcome.
