SSHE teaches professors at ETH Zurich the basics of safety and security and provides information on what to do in an emergency. You will receive information on the duties of both supervisors and employees in safety, security, health and environmental matters.
You can demonstrate your knowledge of the safety and security basics in the knowledge test. The completion of the module is recommended, but has so far been voluntary.

1 Safety and Security information
SSHE recommends participation in the luncheon event for new professors. In this online event you will receive information on special functions and have the opportunity to clarify questions. You will get to know the head of department and/or other SSHE employees. is responsible for the administration of the online event.
You can also find the safety and security information in the presentation in the course module (Moodle).
2 You can complete a knowledge test on the safety and security basics in Moodle.

The e-learning module of the SSHE department gives an impression of the rights and obligations of ETH members with regard to safety, security, health and environmental issues. From the point of view of compliance, the topics "Emergency procedures, risk identification and safety measures" are also dealt with.
