We will allocate 15 places to the applicants with the most convincing letters of motivation.

You will learn the most important elements that make up good stories, analyze your science from the perspective of storytelling and apply the learned lessons on your research by hands-on work.

  • Introduction & storytelling basics
  • Transform your research into stories: Identify your story elements; Frame your story for different audiences
  • Presentations and discussion

In this workshop you will learn and apply basic storytelling concepts to your research topic in order to reach your audiences more efficiently.

Please answer the following questions in your letter of motivation:

  • Why do you want to take this class?
  • Why do you think storytelling is relevant for science communication?
  • Which topic would you like to turn into a compelling story?
  • How would you use the skills learned in the course?
