• Effective prompting techniques
• Different uses of ChatGPT in a writing project: brainstorming, outlining, drafting, revising, providing feedback, summarizing, etc.
• Limitations and risks of ChatGPT and alternative tools
• Plagiarism and declaration of originality

At the end of the course, you will be able to

• create effective prompts for ChatGPT as part of your writing process,
• assign different roles to ChatGPT (depending on your writing needs),
• critically assess the output of ChatGPT,
• ensure that your use of ChatGPT does not infringe on scientific integrity.

• Please create an OpenAI account for ChatGPT before the workshop.
• This course assumes little or no background knowledge. If you already have substantial experience using ChatGPT, we recommend that you take the course Mastering scientific writing with ChatGPT and other AI tools.
