This report discusses the future of international nonproliferation regimes. When the US Senate rejected the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) in 1999, international attention was drawn to the challenge of sustaining international nonproliferation regimes for the coming century. The authors of this report take up this issue and discuss the future of nonproliferation treaties, conventions, and regimes in the West, the Middle East, South Asia, and Northeast Asia.
