This publication identifies the proliferation and arms control challenges that the US administration under President Barack Obama faces. It examines the threats of nuclear terrorism as well as those emanating from North Korea, Iran and Syria. The authors further assess the relations between the US and Russia concerning nonproliferation. They also consider Sino-US relations in this context and discuss ways to strengthen the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).
