This publication presents findings from a research project on nuclear disarmament, which analyzes the prevailing perspectives, bureaucratic players and politics related to nuclear disarmament in China and Russia. The first essay summarizes the main findings and recommendations of the project and includes a flow-chart on Chinese and Russian decision-making in nuclear concerns. The other essays constitute background papers on specific issues, ranging from the evolution of nuclear doctrine to the stance on nuclear disarmament of China and Russia.
