AutoForm is a provider of software solutions for die design and sheet metal forming simulation. AutoForm was acquired by portfolio management company Astorg Partners in June 2016. The acquisition of AutoForm was carried out without official communication from either party, and according to Reuters the price was USD 721 million USD. In November 2021, AutoForm was purchased by the global investment firm Carlyle for around USD 2 billion.
