Kuros Therapeutics AG

Kuros Therapeutics AG developed surgical and pharmacological therapies in the fields of biosurgery, tissue repair and regeneration, accelerating the healing process of wounds and bone damage in the body. In January 2002 Straumann acquired the dental products and oral implants business area of Kuros Therapeutics for an undisclosed amount. It was incorporated as a new division in Straumann. The remaining part of Kuros Therapeutics continued in a new company named Kuros Biosurgery, which in January 2016 acquired Cytos Biotechnology in a reverse IPO and changed its name to Kuros Biosciences.
