Whole day on Tuesday and Thursday, morning on Monday and Friday.

Work experience

Ying received her MS and PhD degrees in biogeochemistry from California Institute of Technology (Pasadena, CA, USA) with the main focus on isotope geochemistry and organic geochemistry. After that, she worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Geophysical Laboratory of Carnegie Institution of Washington (Washington, DC, USA) in the field of astrobiology and later as a research scientist at Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, GA, USA) in the areas of environmental chemistry and atmospheric chemistry. Ying is also a candidate of Juris Doctoral degree at Georgia State University College of Law (Atlanta, GA, USA) with a focus on Intellectual Property laws. She has worked as patent intern for Equifax (a private company) and for Georgia Lawyers for the Arts (a non-profit organization) in the USA.

Ying joined ETH transfer in August 2022.
