Not Accurate Enough: Scientists Remeasure the Gravitational Constant

external page“The only option for resolving this situation is to measure the gravitational constant with as many different methods as possible,” explains Jürg Dual, a professor in the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering at ETH Zurich. He and his colleagues conducted a new experiment to redetermine the gravitational constant and have now published their work in the prestigious journal Nature Physics.

Forever chemicals are raining down all over the world

According to a study led by Stockholm University and external pageETH Zurich, the current levels of PFAS(Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) in environmental media are now ubiquitously above guideline levels, defining a new planetary boundary for novel entities that has been exceeded. Martin Scheringer, a professor of Environmental Science at ETH Zurich comments.
