Congratulations to students who passed their first-year exams
Over the past two days, all students who passed their first-year exams have been rewarded with a hoodie. And just like last year, the Rector was on hand to present some hoodies in person.
The first-year exams are etched into the memory of anyone who has completed a Bachelor's at ETH Zurich. Of the 2,800 students who took on the challenge this September, 1,700 (60 percent) overcame it successfully. Just like their predecessors, this year’s group can proudly display their achievement with a hoodie bearing the logo “Best. 2016” in memory of this landmark year. The hoodie is ETH’s way of honouring its students’ first major achievement. Students who pass their first-year exams in the coming spring will receive a similar hoodie, marked “Best. 2017”.
