EU programmes

There are a multitude of funding instruments provided by the European Union. However, currently Switzerland is considered a non-associated third country and thus not all EU programmes and initiatives are open for researchers based in this country. The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) offers transitional measures as a substitute for participation in some of the calls that are currently not open for researchers based in Switzerland.

EU GrantsAccess, a unit shared by ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich, closely follows all developments and will be happy to advise you about anything from which instruments there are to how to improve your chances of success. In addition, EU GrantsAccess organises various events and also offers management services.
