Direct Doctorate (offered in the first application window only)

If you are applying for the Direct Doctorate in Chemical and Bioengineering, submit a complete application for the Master's degree programme with the following additions:

  • A written confirmation of a an ETH Zurich professor for the financing of the Master's degree programme and subsequent doctoral studies in his or her research group
  • Motivation letter (letter of intent for the direct doctorate)
