Master Process Engineering
In this degree programme, students deepen their knowledge of the core areas of process engineering. These include bioengineering and particle technology, separation processes, transport processes and reaction engineering. The fundamental disciplines of mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry and biology are integrated into these subject areas.
This interdisciplinary approach is particularly important in multidisciplinary fields such as advanced separation processes, bioengineering, micro- and nanoscale process engineering, and the processing of food, pharmaceutical products and dental materials.
Students develop and apply a wide range of methods and tools – from computer simulations and system modelling to modern experimental techniques. In doing so, they gain a deeper understanding of fundamental phenomena, processes and process characteristics.
The programme also takes into account the wider societal context in which process engineering operates. Courses in the humanities, social and political sciences are therefore integrated into the programme and foster a broader, holistic perspective.
