Master Quantum Engineering

Quantum engineering exploits the unique features of quantum theory to generate technical solutions surpassing the capabilities of any classical technology. Quantum technology is transforming in particular the fields of communication, computing, and measurement technology.

Students obtain a solid foundation in quantum theory and engineering skills from a selection of core courses offered by the Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering and the Department of Physics at ETH Zurich. The curriculum is supplemented by a broad range of elective courses covering the entire range of science and technology. The Master in Quantum Engineering at ETH has a strong project-oriented learning component including active participation in industrial and academic research projects.
