Pre-arrival info session (students from Europe & North America)
- 18 January 2024, 17.00 to 18.00, webinar (link will be provided by email before the event)
- Content: Information that will help you upon arrival. This includes the basics (food, transport, banking, internet and mobile, authorities, etc.) as well as other things that you need to know before the start of the semester. Plus: It is a great opportunity to network with other exchange students in small groups and Q&A.

- Content: Information that will help you upon arrival. Welcome & introduction at ETH Zurich
- 15 February 2024, 16.00 to 18.15, HG F 30 (Audimax; ETH Main Building; Rämistrasse 101, 8092 Zurich)
- Content: Official welcome by the Vice Rector for Doctoral Studies, important information about your stay in Switzerland and at ETH, presentation of ESN and VSETH
- Target group: mandatory for exchange students starting their studies at the beginning of the semester
International "Zvieri" (informal get-together)
- 22 February 2024, 16.00 to 17.30, CAB H 47.3 (FoodLab; CAB building top floor; Universitätsstrasse 6, 8092 Zurich)
- Content: Informal get-together with fellow students and representatives from the Student Exchange Office. Includes snacks and beverages.
- Target group: exchange students (incoming & outgoing)
Health insurance in Switzerland: All you need to know
- 27 February 2024, 18.00 – 19.30, webinar (link will be provided shortly before the event via email)
- Content: Presentation and Q&A. General information about liability and health insurance in Switzerland, exemption process for students with an EU health insurance card, Swiss health insurance packages for international students and how to claim refunds.
- Target group: mandatory for exchange and international students newly arrived in Switzerland
Examinations at ETH Zurich
- 11 March 2024, 18.00 – 19.00, webinar (link will be provided shortly before the event via email)
- Content: The first 30 minutes will focus on registration, deregistration, and how to manage your exam schedule. The next 30 minutes will clarify how to shift your exams – if necessary – and / or organize distance exams.
- Target group: mandatory for exchange students who plan to shift exams due to academic reasons.
International "Zvieri" (informal get-together)
- 28 March 2024, 16.00 to 17.30, HG K 30.5 ("Dozentenfoyer", ETH Main Building; Rämistrasse 101, 8092 Zurich)
- Content: Informal get-together with fellow students and representatives from the Student Exchange Office. Includes snacks and beverages.
