IDEA League Student Grant
The IDEA League student grant is designed to enhance the research collaboration between students and PhD students of the participating universities.
Application process
The IDEA League scholarship is assigned by your home university and not by ETH. Reach out to the IDEA League Coordinator at your home university to check if you are eligible for participating in IDEA League.
The status cannot be changed if you extend your project after you have started.
Bachelor's and Master's degree students
- The minimum project duration is 91 days (without exceptions).
- You will be administered as a project mobility student.
- You will obtain a student status for your stay.
Doctoral students
You will be administered as an academic guest via Human Resources at ETH. Your hosting institute will take care of the registration with HR. This is the standard route for all visiting doctoral students at ETH. The Student Exchange Office is not involved in the administrative process. You will not obtain a student status at ETH.
