1. Required documents for Mobility-Online
The scholarship will be managed via Mobility-Online. For this, an application must be submitted. Which documents must be prepared is explained below.
Your official student status at ETH Zurich during your one-year research visit is FCS visiting student. In order for the Reception Service to matriculate you in this status, you must complete an online application in Mobility-Online.
All documents must be in PDF format, except for the photo.
- You must upload a scan of your valid passport: page(s) with your photo and personal details (name, date of birth) only. EU/EFTA citizens may also upload a scan of their identity card instead.
- The passport must be valid for at least three months beyond the official end date of your scholarship stay.
- If you have two nationalities, upload a scan of both passports as one merged PDF file.
- Upload a scan of your Master’s or diploma degree certificate including a complete academic record for this degree (official transcripts).
- Only if specifically agreed between you and the Reception Service must original documents be presented upon arrival at ETH. If this applies to you: Use the documents or emails in which a specific arrangement has been agreed and remember to upload the official Master’s degree as soon as available.
If you conduct your project at a research institute
- You will need to register twice: once with the Reception Service and once with your research institute.
- Your research institute will contact you and ask you to register with them. This second registration process is in addition to the one via Mobility-Online. The Mobility-Online process is described on the following pages.
