Identifying needs

Curriculum development is usually a time-consuming, complex undertaking which involves many persons, and it is useful to conduct a preliminary project to determine needs and objectives and to plan the overall project. It is essential to inform the Vice Rector for Curriculum Development and the Education Legislation team of the intent at an early stage.

To ascertain the needs and objectives of a curriculum development process as effectively as possible, all involved parties should be included: Directors of Study, teaching staff, study programme coordinators, students, alumni, experts from industry and didactic specialists.
