Data Science Internship with the external page UNOPS
UNOPS supports peacebuilding, humanitarian, and development projects by providing efficient and sustainable services. The New York Portfolios Office (NYPO) collaborates with UN partners globally, and the Sustainable Development Cluster (SDC) supports operations across 125 countries.
The Centre for Humanitarian Data, managed by OCHA in The Hague, advances data use in humanitarian response through data services, science, responsibility, and learning. The Centre’s Data Science team develops frameworks like OCHA Anticipatory Action Triggers and HDX Signals to enhance predictive analytics.
As a Data Science Intern, you'll support the team by developing code and analysis pipelines to improve HDX Signals, a key product for actionable humanitarian insights.

Duration: 6 months (part-time or full time depending on intern's availabilities).
Financial support: Travel costs are covered. ETH provides a one-off stipend of CHF 2'000.--
