Lucas Flores has been a member of the ETH Sustainability team since October 2023. After completing his bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, he changed over to the master’s degree programme in environmental sciences with a major in forest and landscape management. For his master’s thesis, he examined trade-offs between biodiversity and wood production in forests belonging to the canton of Zug. Working as a tour guide for ETH from 2017-2021, he welcomed a variety of visitors on the campuses in the city centre and on Hönggerberg.
