The latest honours and prizes

Professor Andreas Wallraff (D-PHYS) receives one of the 2020 Helmholtz International Fellow Awards of the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres. The award serves also to expand an existing cooperation with scientists at the Forschungszentrum Jülich (Germany).

Professor Klaus Ensslin (D-PHYS) has been awarded the 2020 Edison Volta Prize of the European Physical Society (EPS), jointly with Dieter Weiss (University of Regensburg) and Jurgen Smet (Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research), "for their seminal contributions to condensed matter nano-science".
