Active lunch break "Get to know your own biases"

October 5th (English) and November 7th (German) 2023, 12.00 am - 1.00 pm, online via Zoom

We all have biases. There is nothing wrong with it. But it might lead to discrimination and inequality in some cases when it is not actively managed. This is why it is important to become aware of one’s own biases. This short lunch break-training will give you the tools that you need to detect them.

For the first time ETH Diversity is offering the active lunch break "Get to know your own biases" as a supplement to the e-Learning “Unconscious bias” to increase further awareness about this topic at the ETH Zürich. ETH members can actively use their lunch break to learn more about their own biases.

Organisational details:

  • The event is aimed at ALL ETH members. There is no restriction on participation.
  • The training lasts 60 minutes.
  • Completing the e-learning "Unconcious bias" before the training is helpful.
  • Registered persons will receive the zoom link with the confirmation e-mail.
