The ETH Library has licensed the external pageCite Them Right database. It offers comprehensive information about referencing styles, correct citation and plagiarism. With the aid of tutorials, videos and text-based information, it teaches members of ETH Zurich the necessary information to help them cite correctly and provide complete references.
The online tool explains the guidelines underpinning the individual referencing styles such as Harvard, APA and IEEE. Cite Them Right also allows users to create the correct references for virtually any media type in combination with the desired referencing style. This also includes unconventional sources such as social media, software as well as legal and audiovisual documents. Cite Them Right is also ideal for people who do not use a reference management tool.
The Cite Them Right tool can be accessed both within the ETH Zurich network and via VPN.
