Points of view – What do you particularly like about your ETH site?
Zentrum – Hönggerberg – Oerlikon – Irchel – Technopark – Lengg – Rüschlikon – Dübendorf – Schlieren – Schwerzenbach – Lindau – Bergün – Walchwil – Lugano – Ascona – Singapore – Heilbronn – Basel. ETH Zurich is everywhere.
In the next edition of the staff magazine, ‘life’, we would like to shine a light on the wide range of locations. Whether it's the people, the premises, the cafeteria, the working atmosphere, the location or the proximity to nature – there are many things that can make us happy at a workplace. Tell us what is special about your location and what you like best.
Send us a short text of no more than 350 characters and a selfie from your special place. The closing date is Monday, 20 January, by email to:
Snapshot – the ETH photo puzzle
We are still looking for contributions for the ‘snapshot’ too. The ‘snapshot’ shows a mysterious detail from an ETH building, which ETH members can use to guess where the picture was taken. The first person to guess correctly wins a prize. Katharina Henggeler, a doctoral student at D-BAUG, took a picture for the current issue of ‘life’ magazine.
Do you work in a building with interesting corners or architectural details? Or do you regularly pass a particularly unusual place? Then send us a photo of a detail of it – in portrait format if possible and in the highest resolution available. The ‘life’ editorial team will then select a suitable image for the March edition.
We look forward to receiving your snapshots by Monday, 20 January, by email to the ‘life’ editorial team at:
