Important information: temporary closure of submissions

Closure of current ethics submission platform eResearch: 22 November 2026

New platform opening for submissions: 1 December 2026.

This will only be a short break. You can submit your new ethics application from 1 December on the new provider platform, still called eResearch.

What this means for you after 22 November:

• Any application in pre-submission will be deleted. Open applications must be submitted before 22 November, or in the new system from 1 December.
• To avoid delays and backlogs, if an ethics application can wait until 1 December, we kindly ask you not to submit over the current system even before it closes. 
• Change requests (amendments) will not be possible from 22 November until migration of the current system onto the new platform is completed, by the end of 2026. For urgent change requests, please send us an email here . For smaller changes, please wait until the new year. 
• The new submission system will close as usual over the holiday period and reopen on 4 January 2027.
