Special arrangements with regard to performance assessments

Students with disabilities or suffering from chronic illness may apply for special arrangements with regard to performance assessments, i.e. they may take examinations at equivalent levels of performance but under different conditions. The modifications involved do not represent any simplification of content.

Special arrangements with regard to performance assessments are agreed on an individual basis between ETH Zurich and the respective student.

Students requesting disability compensation should submit a detailed application and a medical report. In the context of applying for special arrangements with regard to performance assessments, compensation is only approved for examination modalities. Any adjustment to the contents of an examination is not possible.
