Didactic concept

  • What are the target groups?
  • How large are the target groups during and after completion of the project?
  • What learning objectives should the students achieve? What should students be able to do after completing the course unit, i.e., what competences should they acquire?
  • What teaching and learning environments (locations, activities, media) have been selected? Will they help the students to achieve the learning objectives?
  • How are the performance assessments designed? Do they measure the competences formulated in the learning objectives?
  • How are learning goals, performance assessments and the learning environment aligned?[1]
  • How is the didactic concept aligned with the curriculum and the rest of the teaching offer?
  • What target group competences and foreknowledge will be built upon? Which will be prepared as a future basis?
  • How does the didactic concept contribute to achievement of the project goals?

[1] Alignment may relate to all areas of university teaching: curriculum, performance assessment unit/module, course and/or single lecture.
