World Food System Center Education Director Michelle Grant was presented with the Advance Award for Food & Agriculture by the Advance organization of the Australian Government. Throughout her career, Michelle has been committed to educating and cultivating young leaders.
Emmanuel Frossard receives CSRS-Eremitage Award

Together with a group of colleagues from Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Sri Lanka, Emmanuel Frossard has received the 10th CSRS-Eremitage Award for Scientific Research in Partnership. A professor of Plant Nutrition at the Department of Environmental Systems Science (D-USYS), Frossard has linked in his research yam crop physiology to the development of crop management practices in West Africa.

Michelle Grant, Executive Director of the World Food System Center, has received the University of Queensland Distinguished Young Alumni Award 2017. She is a food systems specialist and educator who runs the world-leading competence center tackling global food system challenges.
