Lower third

Description

2 lines:
Line 1 = first name, surname
Line 2 = role, institute / workplace.

Function

Lower thirds are used to credit people (introducing protagonists).

Timing

The lower third is seen when the protagonist is introduced and must not be placed over a transition. The standard length can be extended if required.

Specifications

The components of the advanced lower third (font, bar, animation, two lines) may not be modified. Alternative transition: end hard with the next cut.

Text

Text formats are pre-defined and are automatically available when using the AE project.

Opacity

Opacity of the bar and text must be between 30% and 100%. The text must be easy to read.

Placement

Flexible placement – the standard placement provided in the template is usually good.

Duration

Flexible length – the standard length provided in the template is usually good.
