Studying with a hearing impairment

Students with a hearing impairment may bring their technical aids to ETH Zurich and ask their teachers on site to use their soundfield systems or their pens in order to guarantee perfect participation in classroom activities.

Almost all lecture rooms of ETH Zurich are equipped with induction loops or infrared systems. Please check the room information about what the relevant lecture rooms are equipped with in advance. Our Multimedia Service (MMS) makes available additional receiving devices for infrared systems. Please contact MMS directly to ensure that you will have access to such a device.
