Software upgrade on network loadbalancer On Tuesday, 22. April 2025, between 07:00 and 08:00 a software upgrade will be performed on the hardware network load balancer. The reason for this are various bug fixes. Thanks to hardware redundancy, the upgrade should be possible without interruption. Geplanter VPN Hardware-Lifecycle – Remote-Access-VPN-Infrastruktur der ETH Zürich (sslvpn.ethz.ch) Dear Network Users, Scheduled VPN Hardware Lifecycle – Remote Access VPN Infrastructure of ETH Zurich (sslvpn.ethz.ch) As part of the scheduled hardware lifecycle, the VPN access to the Remote Access VPN infrastructure of ETH Zurich (sslvpn.ethz.ch) will be temporarily unavailable: Date: Tuesday, 15 April 2025 Time: 06:30 – 07:00 CET Please note that due to hardware incompatibilities, this change cannot be performed without interruption. During the maintenance window, all active VPN connections will be terminated, and the VPN service will not be available. After the maintenance, all VPN connections must be re-established.
