LinkedIn is a professional networking platform useful for career development, building networks, and job searches. LinkedIn provides a place for users to connect with and endorse other professionals, to create content, and to keep up-to-date with their field. Users can highlight their achievements, skills, experience, and education on their own personal profile and establish themselves as experts.
This hands-on tutorial will provide the student with an overview of LinkedIn for the individual user. We will look at the different components of the user profile and construct LinkedIn profiles during the course. After taking this course, the students will have a LinkedIn profile and know how to use it effectively to boost their career.
